Klype vs EasyGen: EasyGen has closed to new users, so what now?

EasyGen was one of the best-known LinkedIn post generators. As of 9 October 2026 its site says it has been acquired and is not taking new signups. This page is for existing EasyGen customers deciding what to move to, and for anyone who found EasyGen in an old roundup.

EasyGen is no longer an option for new users: its own site says it has been acquired and is not accepting signups, and no price is published. Existing customers can still log in. Klype AI is open, costs $39 a month, measures your voice from your own posts and checks every draft for unsupported claims and machine patterns before you publish. If you are an EasyGen customer, the honest comparison is between what you have today and what you would move to.

What each tool is for

EasyGen was built by Ruben Hassid after he reached 100 million LinkedIn views. Its pitch was data: it analysed posts from top creators, surfaced trending topics with EasyTrend (which scrapes Reddit, X, Google, Bing and Perplexity), and generated posts using what performed well. It had a content calendar, creator search, voice note dictation and a content library. The site claims 10,000+ people joined.

Klype starts from your business rather than from other people's posts. It keeps one record of your product, buyer, voice and plan, drafts in a voice measured from your own writing, and checks every draft before it goes out. It launched publicly on 1 October 2026.

EasyGen facts from easygen.io, checked 9 Oct 2026. Klype facts from klype.ai. Where a detail is not on their site, the table says so.

How each learns your voice

EasyGen asks you about your tone, intensity and the kinds of examples you like, and lets you adjust writing style per post by tone and context. Its FAQ promises posts that feel like "you on your best day". That is a preference-based model: you describe how you want to sound and the model follows the description. It works well for people who know their style and can name it, and less well for people whose style is easier to recognise than to describe.

Klype measures your voice from posts you have already written. It records sentence rhythm, fragment rate, punctuation habits and how often you use contractions, then holds every draft to those numbers. There is no tone picker and no "sound professional" switch. If your posts run short and clipped, drafts run short and clipped.

Posting, automation and account safety

EasyGen made a point of not auto-posting. The site says the team chose this because posting directly helps reach, and the calendar lets you create and schedule but you still publish. There is no engagement automation on the site. That is the safe end of the market, and it matches Klype's position.

Klype never auto-posts and never logs in as you. You approve a draft, then publish it yourself. Before that, Check reads the draft for figures with no source, invented stories and machine-writing patterns, and tells you what to fix. It also scores drafts written somewhere else, including ChatGPT. For automation of your own, there is an MCP server, a REST API and a Chrome extension, and you can bring your own AI key.

Price, trial and what you get

EasyGen publishes no price today. Third-party reviews from earlier in 2026 quoted roughly $59.99 a month, but that figure is not on easygen.io and we do not treat it as current. The site now points new visitors to a Substack newsletter and a consulting business for teams of 100 or more. Existing customers keep their login.

Klype costs $39 a month, $99 a quarter or $299 a year. The 7-day trial asks for a card and charges nothing until day 8. A free version of the draft checks is at klype.ai/check. Klype launched publicly on 1 October 2026, so its track record is short and you should weigh that honestly.

Where EasyGen is the better choice

If you already have an EasyGen account, its trend research is still something Klype does not offer. EasyTrend pulls trending topics across several sources in seconds, and creator search shows which posts in your niche performed and why. If that research loop is the main reason you open EasyGen, keep the account for as long as it works and use it for topic discovery.

Choose EasyGen if you already have an account and lean on its trend research.

Where Klype AI is the better choice

For anyone who cannot sign up, the question is what replaces it. Klype gives you a measured voice rather than a described one, so drafts hold to your actual sentence rhythm. Check catches figures with no source, invented stories and machine patterns before you publish, including drafts you wrote in EasyGen or ChatGPT. Your product, buyer and GTM plan feed every draft, and the MCP server and REST API let you wire Klype into your own tools. Klype is new and has no public results claims, so judge it on the trial.

Choose Klype if you need a tool that is open to new users, measures your voice and checks every claim.

How to decide in one afternoon

Test both on the same idea. Write two rough lines you would really post, run them through each trial, then paste both drafts into the free post checker. Start the Klype trial: card required, nothing charged until day 8.

Common questions

Can I still sign up for EasyGen?

Not as of 9 October 2026. easygen.io says EasyGen has been acquired and is not taking new signups. Existing customers can log in.

What does EasyGen cost?

Its site does not publish a price today. Older third-party reviews quoted about $59.99 a month, but that is not stated on easygen.io.

Does Klype do trend research like EasyTrend?

No. Klype drafts from your own product, buyer and GTM plan, not from scraped trending topics. If trend discovery is your main need, Klype does not replace that part of EasyGen.

Does either tool auto-post to LinkedIn?

No. EasyGen deliberately did not auto-post. Klype never auto-posts and never logs in as you.

Is this comparison independent?

No. Klype AI wrote it. EasyGen facts come from easygen.io, checked on 9 October 2026.
