LinkedIn post checker: find what makes a draft read as AI-written
Paste any draft, from ChatGPT, Claude, a colleague or yourself. The checker flags cliche openers, unsourced figures, invented stories, flat rhythm, hashtag blocks and the other patterns readers spot in a second, and tells you what to change. It runs in your browser. Nothing you paste leaves this page.
What the checker looks for
Cliche openers
"In today's fast-paced world", "Let's dive in", "Unlock". Readers stop trusting a post at its first line.
Figures with no source
Percentages and "X% of people" claims with nothing behind them. One unverifiable number undermines the rest.
Invented stories
A scene with dialogue, a search, a reaction, written as if it happened. If it did not happen to you, it should not be in your post.
Flat rhythm
Every sentence the same length and every paragraph the same size. People write unevenly; generated text rarely does.
Template endings
A question aimed at the reader, a summary of what you just said, or a universal lesson that could close any post.
Formatting tells
Hashtag blocks, markdown asterisks, three-item lists in every paragraph and heavy em dash use.
Questions
How can I tell if a LinkedIn post sounds AI-written?
Look for the patterns readers recognise: an opener such as "In today's fast-paced world", percentages with no source, a short story nobody actually lived, every sentence the same length, three-item lists everywhere, a block of hashtags and a closing question aimed at the reader. This checker flags each of them and says what to change.
Is this LinkedIn post checker free?
Yes. It is free, needs no sign-up and runs in your browser, so the text you paste is never sent to a server.
What does the full Klype Check do that this page does not?
Inside Klype, Check also scores the draft against your own measured writing voice from your past posts, compares every figure and claim with the facts saved for your business, applies your company's publishing rules and keeps a tamper-evident approval record.
Does the checker work on drafts from ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini?
Yes. Paste text from any assistant or any person. The checks look at the writing itself, not at which tool produced it.
Will removing these patterns guarantee more reach?
No tool can guarantee reach. Removing these patterns makes a post read as written by a person with something specific to say, which is what readers respond to.
