LinkGenie is the stronger choice if you want the lowest price: two free posts with no card, then $19 a month for 50 posts or $26 for 200 with scheduling, analytics and a Chrome extension. Klype AI is the stronger choice if you want drafts measured against your own writing, grounded in your product and buyer, and checked for unsupported claims and machine patterns before you publish, at $39 a month. Neither automates engagement.
What each tool is for
LinkGenie calls itself an AI ghostwriter for LinkedIn and sells on price and speed: write, schedule and grow in 15 minutes a day. Plans are metered by posts generated. Starter gives 50 a month with hook and idea generators, a post inspiration library, rewriting, repurposing and audio-to-post. Pro adds 200 posts, a chat assistant, scheduling and publishing straight to LinkedIn, analytics, trend research and a Chrome extension. Premium removes the limit. The footer claims 4,000+ users and a LinkedIn-verified integration.
Klype is not metered. It keeps your product, buyer, voice and plan in one record, drafts in a measured voice, and checks every draft before it goes out.

LinkGenie facts from linkgenie.one/pricing and linkgenie.one/linkedin-ghostwriter, checked 9 Oct 2026. Klype facts from klype.ai. Where a detail is not on their site, the table says so.
How each learns your voice
LinkGenie asks you to paste a handful of posts you have already written, or to answer a few questions about how you talk. Its FAQ is candid that the result depends entirely on what it learns from. Pasting real posts is the better of the two routes, and it is the same raw material Klype uses. The difference is what happens next: LinkGenie's site does not say what it extracts from your samples or how it holds later drafts to them.
Klype measures your voice from posts you have already written. It records sentence rhythm, fragment rate, punctuation habits and how often you use contractions, then holds every draft to those numbers. There is no tone picker and no "sound professional" switch. If your posts run short and clipped, drafts run short and clipped.
Posting, automation and account safety
LinkGenie schedules and publishes to LinkedIn from the Pro plan up and describes its integration as LinkedIn-verified. Nothing on the site describes automated likes, comments or connection requests. The Chrome extension is for writing anywhere rather than for acting on your account. That puts it on the safe side of the line, alongside Klype.
Klype never auto-posts and never logs in as you. You approve a draft, then publish it yourself. Before that, Check reads the draft for figures with no source, invented stories and machine-writing patterns, and tells you what to fix. It also scores drafts written somewhere else, including ChatGPT. For automation of your own, there is an MCP server, a REST API and a Chrome extension, and you can bring your own AI key.
Price, trial and what you get
LinkGenie's free plan gives two AI posts with no card, plus the free tools. Starter is $19 a month or $15.20 billed yearly; Pro is $26 or $20.80; Premium is $36 or $28.80. Note that several third-party reviews still quote $12, $19 and $26, which are old prices; the figures here are from linkgenie.one on 9 October 2026. Posts are metered on Starter and Pro, so if you draft many variants you will hit the cap.
Klype costs $39 a month, $99 a quarter or $299 a year. The 7-day trial asks for a card and charges nothing until day 8. A free version of the draft checks is at klype.ai/check. Klype launched publicly on 1 October 2026, so its track record is short and you should weigh that honestly.
Where LinkGenie is the better choice
LinkGenie is the better choice if budget decides. Two free posts cost nothing to try, $19 a month is half of Klype, and $26 buys scheduling, analytics, trend research and a Chrome extension. Audio-to-post and image-to-post are handy ways to capture ideas. If you post a few times a week and mostly want a fast first draft to edit, that is enough.
Choose LinkGenie if you want the cheapest workable post generator with scheduling.
Where Klype AI is the better choice
Klype is the better choice if you post under your own name and the draft has to hold up. Voice is measured from your posts and held as numbers, with nothing metered. Check flags figures with no source, invented stories and machine-writing patterns before you publish, including drafts from LinkGenie. Your product, buyer and GTM plan feed every draft, and the MCP server, REST API and BYOK are there for people who build their own workflow. Klype launched on 1 October 2026 and does not publish to LinkedIn for you.
Choose Klype if you want unmetered drafts in a measured voice, checked before they go out.
