Klype vs Taplio: checked drafts or a LinkedIn growth suite?

Taplio is a LinkedIn growth suite: scheduling, AI writing, a lead database and engagement automation, from $39 to $199 a month. Klype is a $39-a-month GTM and content intelligence tool that measures your voice and checks every draft. Same entry price, different jobs.

Taplio is the stronger choice if you want one tool to schedule LinkedIn posts, find leads in a database and automate parts of engagement such as keyword-triggered comments and DMs. Klype AI is the stronger choice if you want drafts built from one record of your product, buyer and measured writing voice, with every draft checked for unsupported claims and machine-writing patterns, and no automation on your account. Both start at $39 a month.

Taplio facts from taplio.com/pricing and Taplio's pricing guide, checked October 2026 (10 Oct). Klype facts from klype.ai. Where a detail is not on their site, the table says so.

What each tool is for

Taplio sells three plans. Starter at $39 a month covers scheduling and core analytics with no AI writing. Growth at $69 adds AI post writing, carousel generation and faster reply and comment tools. Pro at $199 adds unlimited AI posts and comments and automated lead outreach. Around that sit a lead database and a Chrome extension that brings Taplio into LinkedIn and works without a paid plan.

Klype is narrower. It keeps one record of your product, your buyer and your writing voice measured from your own posts, drafts from that record, and runs Check on every draft before you publish. It is GTM and content intelligence with an MCP server and REST API, not a growth automation suite.

How each writes

Taplio's own pricing guide says its AI writing draws on a database of more than 5 million LinkedIn posts. That is a reasonable way to learn what tends to perform on LinkedIn in general. It also means drafts lean towards patterns many other posts share.

Klype starts from you instead. It measures sentence rhythm, fragments, punctuation and contractions from posts you wrote, and holds drafts to those numbers. Then Check reads each draft for figures with no source, invented stories and machine-writing patterns. You can try that check free at klype.ai/check on a Taplio draft or any other.

Automation and account safety

Taplio's pricing page lists automated comments triggered by a keyword, auto-DMs, auto-connection requests and auto-reply to comments. Some people want exactly that. Others prefer to keep every action on their account manual, especially when LinkedIn is their main sales channel.

Klype has no engagement automation. It never posts, comments or logs in as you. You approve a draft and publish it yourself.

Price, trial and what you get

Taplio's monthly prices are $39, $69 and $199. Its pricing page also shows $32, $49 and $149, which its pricing guide describes as annual billing. The 7-day trial gives full Pro access; the page does not say whether a card is needed. AI writing starts on Growth, so the like-for-like comparison with Klype's drafting is $69 a month.

Klype costs $39 a month, $99 a quarter or $299 a year, with drafting and Check on every plan. The 7-day free trial needs no card. Klype launched publicly on 1 October 2026, so its track record is short and you should weigh that honestly.

Where Taplio is the better choice

Taplio is the better choice if you want scheduling, a lead database and engagement automation in one LinkedIn tool, and you are comfortable with automated comments and DMs on your account. Its Chrome extension inside LinkedIn is also something Klype does not try to be.

Choose Taplio if you want an all-in-one LinkedIn growth and outreach suite.

Where Klype AI is the better choice

Klype is the better choice if your problem is what to say and whether it holds up. Drafts come from your own product, buyer and measured voice. Every draft is checked before you post, including drafts written elsewhere. Nothing is automated on your account, and the MCP server and REST API let you connect Klype to your own agents and tools.

Choose Klype if you want checked drafts in your own voice at $39 with no automation on your profile.

How to decide in one afternoon

Test both on the same idea. Write two rough lines you would really post, run them through each trial, then paste both drafts into the free post checker. Start the Klype trial: 7-day free trial, no card required.
