The short version
Choose Taplio if you want one LinkedIn growth suite with scheduling, AI writing and automated outreach. Choose Klype if you want drafts in your own measured voice, checked for unsourced claims and machine-writing patterns, with nothing automated on your account. Klype costs $39 a month, $99 a quarter or $299 a year at the founding price, with drafting and Check on every plan. The two can also sit side by side: draft and check in Klype, then schedule wherever you like.
What Taplio does well
Taplio describes itself through its plans. Starter covers scheduling and analytics, Growth adds AI post writing, and Pro adds more AI volume and automated lead outreach. Its pricing guide lists the following:
- Scheduling on every plan, so a post can be queued rather than published by hand.
- AI writing from the Growth plan. Taplio says Growth is grounded in a database of more than 5 million viral LinkedIn posts plus your own content. That is a sensible way to learn what tends to travel on the platform.
- Lead outreach on Pro. Taplio says Pro adds automated lead outreach so engagement turns into conversations, and that it ships conservative limits on outreach features by default.
- A 7-day trial with full Pro access, a 30-day refund window after any payment, and cancellation from account settings.
If you want one product to schedule, write, and run outreach around your LinkedIn activity, that is a real and coherent offer, and Klype does not try to match it.
Where Klype differs
Klype starts from a different question. Taplio asks how to get more out of LinkedIn activity. Klype asks whether the post you are about to publish is yours and whether it holds up.
Your voice is measured, not borrowed
Klype measures sentence length and its spread, how often you write fragments, your punctuation habits and how often you use contractions, from posts you have already written. Drafts are held to those numbers. Taplio's writing draws on a large pool of other people's posts. Both are legitimate. The first pushes drafts towards you, the second towards what is common.
The people list comes from your own network
In Klype you can import your LinkedIn Connections.csv, or any CSV with names, so the work is about people you actually know. The mapping of columns is shown before anything is added. Klype does not search the web for buyers yet; lead discovery is marked coming soon in the product, so do not choose Klype expecting a lead database. Taplio's pricing guide, for its part, describes outreach on the Pro plan.
Every draft is checked for unsourced claims
Check reads a draft for percentages with no source, scenes told as fact that may not have happened, and the machine-writing patterns listed on our AI phrases page. It works on drafts from anywhere, including ChatGPT or a colleague. The pricing guide we read does not describe a comparable check on Taplio's side, which is not proof it has none.
Nothing is posted for you
Klype never logs in as you and never publishes. You approve a draft and post it yourself. Taplio lists automated lead outreach on its Pro plan (per Taplio's pricing guide).
Side by side
Everything in the Taplio column comes from the page linked under Sources, read on 22 October 2026. Where that page does not say, the cell says so, and a missing mention is not a claim that the feature is absent.

Who should pick which
Pick Taplio if
- You want scheduling, AI writing and outreach in one subscription.
- You want the automated lead outreach Taplio lists on Pro (per Taplio's pricing guide).
- You want writing informed by what performs across a large pool of public posts.
Pick Klype if
- Your problem is saying something true in your own voice, not finding more places to post.
- You use ChatGPT or a colleague for first drafts and want every one checked before publishing.
- You want no automation on your LinkedIn account, and a people list built from your own connections.
- You want to connect your context and checks to your own agents through MCP or the API.
Test them on your own draft
Write two rough lines you would really post. Run them through each tool's free trial, then paste both finished drafts into the free post checker. It applies the same plain rules to any draft, whichever tool wrote it, and it runs in your browser. Klype's own trial is 7 days with no card: start it here.
One caution. Klype launched publicly on 1 October 2026, so its track record is short, and this page was written by Klype. Treat the comparison as a starting point and confirm current prices on each vendor's own site before you buy.

Questions
Is Klype a Taplio alternative?
For the writing part, yes. Klype drafts posts in a voice measured from your own writing and checks each draft. It does not replace Taplio's scheduling depth or outreach tools, so people who rely on those may use Klype alongside it or not at all.
Which is cheaper, Klype or Taplio?
Both entry prices are $39 a month (Klype's is the founding price). Taplio's AI writing starts on its $69 Growth plan, and Klype includes drafting and Check on every plan. Taplio shows lower per-month prices for annual billing, so compare the billing period you would actually use.
Does Klype post to LinkedIn for me?
No. Klype never logs in as you and never posts automatically. You approve a draft and publish it yourself.
Does Klype find leads like Taplio's lead tools?
Not yet. Klype can work from a CSV you import, including your LinkedIn Connections.csv. Searching the web for buyers is marked coming soon.
Is this comparison independent?
No. Klype wrote it. Every Taplio statement links to the page it came from, and where that page was silent the table says so.
