What it flags
- A closing question aimed at the reader
- More than one em dash per 100 words
- Stock wording such as “delve” and “game-changer”
- “It’s not just X, it’s Y” contrast frames
- Figures with no source nearby
- Hashtag blocks, emoji bullets and filler hook lines
It stays quiet on posts that read as written by a person. It looks at the writing, not the writer, and does not claim to detect who or what wrote a post.
With a Klype account
Signed in, it can rewrite a flagged line for you to review, and on a paid plan check the full draft in a side panel against your measured voice, saved facts and publishing rules, draft a post in your voice, and send approvals to your approval record.
You stay in control
- Klype never posts, likes, comments or messages for you
- It runs only in the post composer and the comment or reply boxes
- You can turn it off per site or pause it for an hour
- The text in the box is checked in your browser; it is sent to Klype only when you ask for a fix or a check
- No analytics in the extension
Install
Klype Lens is a preview. Download the package and load it by hand in Chrome 116 or later. The Chrome Web Store listing is not live yet.
