Where it looks
- Hacker News and Bluesky public search
- Reddit search
- Public job boards: Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby, for companies hiring around a problem you solve
- Press releases from GlobeNewswire and PR Newswire
- Your own network, from the LinkedIn Connections.csv you upload, up to 5,000 rows
Klype identifies itself as KlypeAgent when it calls a public source and waits between requests to the same host. It reads public pages and files you give it; it does not log in as you.
How it scores
A relevance check drops posts that are not real buyers asking for what you sell. The rest get a buyer score out of 100: fit 50 percent, warmth 30 percent, intent 20 percent. You can see why a person was chosen, for example “Posted publicly about a problem you solve” or “Their company posted a related job”.
Enrichment with a source on every fact
Klype fills in what it can from free public steps, and records the source and a confidence on the person, so you can see where each detail came from.
The pipeline
People sit in a pipeline with their score, their history and the outcomes you record. Engagement events, such as a reaction or comment on your post, can be added so warmth stays current. Everything is kept per workspace.

Does Klype search the whole web for buyers?
