Klype for B2B edtech companies: check AI drafts against your company facts

Districts and universities ask for evidence. Check each claim against the record before it is in a proposal.

B2B edtech companies check AI drafts by saving efficacy studies with design and population, privacy and data agreements, accessibility report dates and integration lists. Marketing, district proposals and sales emails are then run through a claim check that flags efficacy, compliance and accessibility claims the saved record cannot back.

Where AI drafts go wrong for B2B edtech companies

Education buyers ask for three things: evidence it works, proof student data is protected and proof it is accessible. Assistants answer all three in the same confident register. They write "proven to raise scores", "FERPA and COPPA compliant" and "fully accessible" without a study, an agreement or a conformance report behind them.

Child privacy deserves care. COPPA applies to operators who collect personal information from children under 13, and the FTC publishes FAQs for how it relates to education technology. Whether your product is covered, and how, is a legal question, but the marketing sentence should be one your counsel approved.

Claims an AI draft might invent for B2B edtech companies

These examples are invented for this page to show the pattern. They describe no real company, customer or result.

  • "Proven to raise test scores by 20%" with no study.
  • "FERPA and COPPA compliant" with no approved wording.
  • "Fully WCAG conformant" when the accessibility report is older than the current release.
  • "Works with every LMS" when two integrations exist.
  • "Used in 1,000 schools" without a count.

The facts B2B edtech companies would save once

A saved fact is one sentence you can stand behind, with its source and date. Anything a draft claims that matches none of them is flagged.

  • Efficacy studies: design, population, outcome, who ran it.
  • Privacy and data agreements and their status.
  • Accessibility conformance report: standard, date, scope.
  • Integrations with learning platforms and rostering tools.
  • Customers you may name.
  • Grade levels and subjects the product supports.

The workflow

  1. Save efficacy and privacy facts, with the research and legal owners named.
  2. Draft proposals, web copy and emails in your assistant.
  3. Run the claim check. Paste the study summary as source text for any outcome figure.
  4. Send flagged privacy and efficacy claims to the owner for sign-off by private link.
  5. Submit, and keep the approval record with the proposal.

The method is the one on the draft fact check page: Klype extracts the figures, guarantees, vague authority and stories in a draft, matches each to your saved facts and any source text you paste, flags what it cannot back, and keeps an approval record. It is rule-based, so the same text gets the same answer, and it never publishes or sends anything.

What the check does not do

It compares claims with the facts you saved and any source text you paste. It does not browse the web, does not verify outside claims and does not replace legal, compliance or editorial review where your work needs it. When it finds nothing checkable, it says nothing was verified, so you still read every draft before it goes out.

Sources

Each source is cited for the single point made above. Klype does not give legal advice; ask your counsel how any rule applies to you.

Common questions

Does the check decide whether we are covered by COPPA?

No. It checks statements against what you saved. Coverage is a legal determination.

Can it check a district RFP response?

Run the response in sections. Claims are checked against saved facts and any source text you paste.

What if our study was small?

Save it as small, with the design. A draft that generalizes is flagged.
