LinkedIn post generator: turn a rough idea into a post
Type the idea the way you would say it to a colleague: messy, half-finished, in your own words. Klype turns it into one LinkedIn post that keeps your point and your phrasing, and adds nothing you did not say.
Free with your work email: 5 runs shared across Klype's free tools. You get a 6-digit code by email, no password and no card.

Most LinkedIn post generators start from a topic ("write a post about leadership") and fill the gaps themselves. That is where the invented anecdote, the round-number statistic and the "Here is what I learned" list come from. This generator works the other way round. It starts from your idea, in your words, and its only job is to shape it into a post. If the idea is thin, the post will be short. That is deliberate.
What to type in the box
- One observation, not a topic. "Hiring" is a topic. "Our best two hires this year both came from people who had commented on our posts" is an observation.
- The specific detail that made you notice it. A number you actually measured, the moment in a call, the thing a customer said. Details you include are kept; details you leave out are not made up.
- What you think it means. One sentence of opinion is enough. Posts without a point of view read as summaries.
- Your own words. Do not tidy the idea first. Contractions, short fragments and the way you normally phrase things help the draft sound like you.
A worked example
Input: "Clients keep asking for a monthly report. Nobody reads it. Started sending a three-line Friday note instead: what we shipped, what is blocked, what we need from them. Replies went up." The draft will lead with the change, keep the three lines, and end on the result you stated. It will not invent a percentage for "replies went up", because you did not give one. If you want a number in the post, put the real one in the idea.
Editing the draft
- Read the first two lines as if you were scrolling. If they would not stop you, move your strongest sentence up.
- Delete any sentence you would not say out loud.
- Check that every claim is something you can back up if someone asks in the comments.
- Paste the final version into the free post checker. It flags unsupported figures, invented stories and patterns readers associate with AI writing.
Why not just use ChatGPT?
You can, and plenty of people do. The difference is the instructions. A general chatbot tends to add hooks, lists and closing questions because those appear in so much of the LinkedIn writing it learned from. This tool is constrained to your input. Our guide to ChatGPT LinkedIn posts that do not sound like AI covers how to get closer to that with any tool.
When to move to the full workspace
The free generator knows only the idea you typed. Inside Klype, every draft also reads from one record of your product, your buyer and your writing voice measured from your own posts, so a post about a feature describes the feature correctly and sounds like you without a prompt. Every draft is checked before you see it, and you still publish it yourself.
Questions
Is this LinkedIn post generator free?
Yes. You get 5 free runs per verified email, shared across the free tools, and up to 5 runs per network per day. There is no account and no card.
Will it make up statistics or stories?
It is instructed not to. The draft is built only from the idea you type, so figures, names, stories and quotes appear only if you wrote them. Read the draft before you publish.
How long should my idea be?
Between 20 and 1,500 characters. Two to five sentences with one specific detail usually gives the best post.
Does it write in my voice?
It keeps your phrasing where it can, but it does not know your voice from one idea. To measure your voice, use the free writing voice analyzer. The full Klype workspace drafts from that measured voice.
Can I use the post commercially?
Yes. The draft is yours to edit and publish wherever you like.
Does Klype publish to LinkedIn for me?
No. You copy the post and publish it yourself. Klype never posts or logs in as you.
