The short version
Choose Typeface if you are an enterprise marketing team that needs brand rules enforced on every draft across channels and brands. Choose Klype if you are a founder or small team who wants drafts in a measured personal voice and a check on each one, with a published entry price. Klype costs $39 a month, $99 a quarter or $299 a year at the founding price.
What Typeface does well
Everything below comes from Typeface's own pages, linked under Sources and read on 31 October 2026.
- Brand Graph. Typeface says it scans every draft in real time, blocks banned terms outright and names which rule fired and why.
- Channel voices. It learns separate voices for channels such as blog, social and email from your materials, and an AuthorKit captures one person's voice from writing samples.
- Approvals for multi-brand groups. For house-of-brands organisations it maps rule inheritance and surfaces conflicts, and a team approves overrides, removals and additions one rule at a time.
- An MCP server. Typeface MCP lets MCP-compatible clients pull Brand Kits, audience profiles, voice guidelines, templates and approved assets, authenticating with OAuth 2.1.
Where Klype differs
Klype measures sentence length and its spread, how often you write fragments, your punctuation habits and your use of contractions from posts you have already written, and holds drafts to those numbers. Its Check reads any draft, from any tool, for percentages with no source, scenes told as fact and machine-writing patterns. Klype never logs in as you and never posts. It has no scheduling, translation or bulk campaign tooling, and it launched on 1 October 2026, so its track record is short.
Side by side
The Typeface column comes from the pages under Sources, read on 31 October 2026. Where a page does not say, the cell says so, and a missing mention is not a claim that the feature is absent.

Who should pick which
Pick Typeface if

Test them on your own draft
Write two rough lines you would really post, run them through each tool's trial, then paste both drafts into the free post checker. It applies the same plain rules to any draft and runs in your browser. Klype's trial is 7 days with no card: start it here. Confirm current prices on each vendor's site before you buy.

Questions
Is Klype a Typeface alternative?
For a founder or small team, partly. Klype measures a personal voice and checks drafts. It does not offer Typeface's multi-brand rule inheritance or visual asset workflows.
Does Typeface publish its pricing?
Not on the pages we read on 31 October 2026. The Brand Graph and MCP pages direct visitors to a demo or sales.
Do both have MCP servers?
Yes. Typeface MCP exposes brand kits, voice and visual guidelines, templates and assets. Klype's MCP server exposes saved voice, product facts, buyer and plan, drafting, review and an approval record.
Does Klype publish posts for me?
No. Klype never logs in as you and never posts automatically. You approve a draft and publish it yourself.
Is this comparison independent?
No. Klype wrote it. Every Typeface statement links to the page it came from, read on 31 October 2026, and silent cells say so.
