Comparison
Where a vendor page did not say something, the cell says so. A missing mention is not a claim that a feature is absent.
| Tool | What it checks a draft against | Published pricing |
|---|---|---|
| Klype Check (ours) | Saved voice, saved product facts, machine-writing patterns and publishing rules; works on text from any tool. The checker is rule-based and makes no AI call, per Klype. klype.ai/mcp | $39 a month, $99 a quarter or $299 a year (founding prices); 7-day trial, no card. klype.ai |
| Writer | Knowledge Graph draws on internal company sources and lets you open the excerpt that supports an answer. The pricing page does not mention fact or claim checking. support.writer.com | No dollar amounts published. Starter has a 14-day trial with no card; Enterprise via sales. writer.com/plans |
| Markup AI (formerly Acrolinx) | Reviews brand, quality and citability. Its product page shows a Claim Integrity example that flags a statistic the source report does not contain. markup.ai/product | Starter $249 a month and Business $999 a month with annual discount; Enterprise unpublished; 30-day free trial. markup.ai/pricing |
| Typeface Brand Graph | Scans every draft in real time against brand rules, blocks banned terms and names the rule that fired. The page describes rules and tone, not fact checking. typeface.ai | Not published; demo or sales. typeface.ai |
| Jasper | Knowledge assets for company facts (Pro 5, Business unlimited). Fact or claim checking is not described on the pricing page; a plagiarism checker is an add-on. jasper.ai/pricing | Pro $69 per seat a month, or $59 billed yearly; Business custom. jasper.ai/pricing |
| Grammarly | Pro and Enterprise list citation consistency and AI-generated text detection. Fact or claim checking is not mentioned on the pricing page. grammarly.com | Free $0; Pro $12 (billing period not stated); Enterprise via sales. grammarly.com |

The post does not say it checks against your own documents. originality.ai | Free (10K words once); Pro $12.95 a month billed yearly or $14.95 monthly; Enterprise $136.58 a month billed yearly or $179 monthly. originality.ai/pricing |
| Copy.ai | Infobase is named in the navigation, but the pricing page makes no statement on checking drafts. copy.ai/prices | Chat $29 a month for 5 seats ($24 a month at $288 a year); Growth $1,000, Expansion $2,000, Scale $3,000 a month; Enterprise unpublished. copy.ai/prices |
How we evaluated
- What the draft is compared with: your own saved facts, internal documents, brand rules, or the public web. These are different jobs, and the table keeps them apart.
- Whether the vendor's own page describes a check at all. A missing mention is not proof a feature is absent, so cells say "not described" rather than "no".
- Published pricing taken from each vendor's page on 31 October 2026. Where no dollar amount is shown, the cell says so.
- We read vendor pages and documentation. We did not run a controlled test of accuracy, so none of the tools is ranked by how many errors it catches.
Where Klype fits
Klype is our product, so weigh this section accordingly. Klype keeps one record of your product, buyer and plan, and its Check scores any pasted draft, including one from ChatGPT or a colleague, for figures with no source, invented scenes, machine-writing patterns and mismatches with the facts you saved. It is a narrower tool than Writer or Markup AI: it does not retrieve from your document stores and it launched on 1 October 2026, so its track record is short. It never posts for you. The free checker at klype.ai/check applies fifteen plain rules in your browser.
Klype's entry price is $39 a month, with a 7-day trial that needs no card. Start it here. Treat this list as a starting point and confirm current prices and features on each vendor's own site before you buy.

Questions
Can AI check content against my company's facts?
Some tools can, in different ways. Klype Check tests a draft against product facts you saved in a workspace. Writer's Knowledge Graph retrieves from internal sources and shows the supporting excerpt. Originality.ai checks against web sources. Whether a tool flags a claim your own documents contradict is worth testing on a real draft.
Is checking against the web the same as checking against company facts?
No. A web fact checker such as Originality.ai's looks for support online, using Perplexity Sonar according to its own post. A company-facts check asks whether a draft agrees with what you have said is true about your product, which no public page can know.
Is Klype's checker an AI model?
Klype describes its checker as rule-based, with no AI call. That makes results repeatable, but it only flags what its rules and your saved facts cover. It does not search the web.
Which of these tools publish prices?
On the pages we read, Klype, Markup AI, Jasper, Grammarly, Originality.ai and Copy.ai show dollar amounts for at least one plan. Writer and Typeface do not. Confirm current prices on each vendor's site before you buy.
Is this list independent?
No. Klype wrote it and appears in the table. Every statement about another product links to the page it came from and was read on 31 October 2026. Where a page was silent, the cell says so.
