Klype for field marketing teams: check AI drafts against your company facts

Events run on dates, names and numbers that change daily. Check each invite and follow-up against what is confirmed today.

Field marketing teams check AI drafts by saving confirmed event details, speaker status, sponsor approvals and real attendance figures, then running invitations, speaker bios and post-event follow-ups through a claim check. The check flags unconfirmed speakers, inflated attendance, wrong segments and thank-you notes sent to people who never came.

Where AI drafts go wrong for field marketing teams

Event copy goes stale faster than any other marketing. A speaker drops out, the venue moves, a co-host has not yet approved its logo. An assistant working from the first brief keeps writing the first version. Invitations also lean on past-event numbers, and "500 attendees last year" is an easy claim for a model to round up.

The follow-up is the second trap. One list holds registrants, attendees and no-shows, and a draft that says "thanks for stopping by our booth" to the wrong segment tells the recipient nobody is paying attention. Follow-up email is commercial email, so the CAN-SPAM rules on sender identity and subject lines apply to it as well.

Claims an AI draft might invent for field marketing teams

These examples are invented for this page to show the pattern. They describe no real company, customer or result.

  • "Keynote by the CEO of a named company" when the speaker has not confirmed.
  • "Join 500 leaders, as last year" when last year's attendance was a different number.
  • "Co-hosted with a partner" when the partner has not approved its name.
  • "Great meeting you at our booth" sent to registrants who did not attend.
  • "Dinner includes a session with a named analyst" that was never agreed.

The facts field marketing teams would save once

A saved fact is one sentence you can stand behind, with its source and date. Anything a draft claims that matches none of them is flagged.

  • Event status: confirmed, tentative or cancelled, per session and per speaker.
  • Real attendance figures from past events, with the source.
  • Co-host and sponsor approvals, with the approved name form.
  • Segment definitions: registered, attended, no-show, booth scan.
  • Venue, date and travel details, as one record updated in one place.
  • What attendees were told they would receive afterwards.

The workflow

  1. Keep one saved event record per event, with status per speaker and sponsor.
  2. Draft invitations, speaker bios and follow-ups for each segment in your assistant.
  3. Run each through the claim check, pasting the segment definition or attendee list summary as source text.
  4. Send flagged speaker or sponsor lines to the person who confirmed them, for sign-off by private link.
  5. Send, and keep the approval record against the event.

The method is the one on the draft fact check page: Klype extracts the figures, guarantees, vague authority and stories in a draft, matches each to your saved facts and any source text you paste, flags what it cannot back, and keeps an approval record. It is rule-based, so the same text gets the same answer, and it never publishes or sends anything.

What the check does not do

It compares claims with the facts you saved and any source text you paste. It does not browse the web, does not verify outside claims and does not replace legal, compliance or editorial review where your work needs it. When it finds nothing checkable, it says nothing was verified, so you still read every draft before it goes out.

Sources

Each source is cited for the single point made above. Klype does not give legal advice; ask your counsel how any rule applies to you.

Common questions

Can it tell who attended?

No. It does not connect to registration tools. Paste the attendee summary as source text if you want a claim about attendance checked against it.

What happens when a speaker cancels?

Update the saved event record. Any later draft that still names them is flagged against the record.

Does it cover social posts from the event?

Yes. It checks the text of any draft from any tool, including posts, emails and landing page copy.
